Put your plan in place
A tax savings plan saves you nothing until it's actually implemented.
Most clients pay a few thousand to put in place a plan worth tens of thousands.
We never recommend a strategy that isn't worth more than it costs to put in place.
Two ways to put the plan in place.
Keep Saving: year-round, with a strategist.
One flat plan if you're an individual. Three plans for businesses, based on how big you've grown.
- A strategist watching your taxes all year
- Your paperwork and income tax filing handled for you
- Advisor insights as your situation changes
- A strategist finding savings all year
- Bookkeeping handled
- Your personal & business tax filing handled
- Compliance kept current
- Everything in the $500K plan
- Regular check-ins with your strategist
- A walkthrough of what’s changing and what to do
- Everything in the $1M plan
- One strategist dedicated to your account
- A monthly call to plan ahead together
Individual plan: have a business or income above $250K? Your advisor sorts out the right plan after your review.
You're paying for someone who keeps finding you savings, all year. The bookkeeping, filing, and compliance come with it. Others hand you bookkeeping with tax filing added on. We hand you the strategist.
Most owners are already paying for pieces of this. We just put them under one person who's actually looking.
Your plan grows because your business does, not because we decided to charge you more. Your advisor tells you which one fits after your review. No guessing.
Only need a piece of this, like bookkeeping cleanup or a one-time filing? Ask your advisor after your review. We don't sell those on their own.
A few things people ask before starting.
What if my review doesn't find much? +
Your review pays for itself, or it's free. If it turns out you're already in great shape, you get your choice of cash back or credit toward your next service. Either way, you're not out anything.
How do I know which plan is right for me? +
You don't have to guess. Your advisor already knows your numbers from your review, so they tell you which plan fits, and they always start with the smallest one that covers you.
Why is the cost to put a plan in place such a wide range? +
Because plans aren't all the same size. A plan with one or two changes costs less to put in place than a full rebuild of how your business runs. You'll see the real number, quoted from your actual plan, before you commit to anything, and your review fee comes off it if you start within 30 days.
Do I have to switch off my current accountant? +
No. Some clients keep their existing accountant for day-to-day filing and use Doughy just for the savings review. Others move everything over. Either way works.
